Butterfly Forests Homestead M2

This is the second model evolution of the Butterfly Forests Homestead. πŸ™‚ I did not apply a green roof, so then one could look inside. πŸ™‚ In the future, I shall create a third rendition of the homestead. The second floor needs a tinkering. πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚ We plan to have a bed and breakfast in due time. So one should have a proper area to host. πŸ™‚

I‘ll draw out a sketch of the floor-plan sometime soon as well of the homestead, so then viewers know what-is-what inside of the home. πŸ™‚

Building a DDR pad into the floor

I feel there needs to be some fun activities placed into our future home. πŸ™‚ Both Daniel and I are “children of heart” and tend to find glee in the endless abundance which surrounds us, of what is called life. In the past, I used to play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) for many years.. Eight years straight to be exact. πŸ˜› πŸ™‚ We are both avid lovers of dancing; several traditional styles and free style πŸ™‚

To our delight, we have found a well done step-by-step layout upon the subject. ❀

Daniel’s facebook wall-post:

Iris asked me a few minutes ago if I might get Windows again once we’re settled in, and join her video game. (We used to play together when I had both operating systems on an old computer.) I said if we had to buy something to play anyway, I’d rather get a physical game like DDR (Dance Dance Revolution). Now I’m planning to build a DDR pad into our future floor. But Iris will paint some animals onto the buttons, instead of boring arrows. Our house will be an interesting blend of old-fashioned and modern, and it keeps evolving.

We plan to embed it into the cob floor (in the main first floor hall) and connect the DDR pad into a laptop. Sometime in the nearby future, after I finish sculpting a small structure of the Butterfly Forests Homestead, I shall watercolor/draw a visual of the DDR pad. πŸ™‚

Bottle tower garden wall <3

After watching a rather interesting discovery in regards of gardening, Daniel has responded with this idea:

“What if we built cob garden walls, perhaps in strategic places we wanted to block wind, and lined them with these bottle towers?” πŸ™‚

Shortly I shall be water coloring a prototype of the cob wall with bottle towers later on this weekend. πŸ™‚ It will be a simple design, but still fun, colorful and creative. πŸ™‚ Β I really like his idea to construct such a wall(s). There will be a few plants I’d imagine, which shall be more delicate than most. Other plants which like more shady places, etc. πŸ™‚

Also, since Daniel is so very busy with his studies and work; I will be carrying on the 3D model of the Butterfly Forests Homestead main house and surrounding property elements. ❀ I’ve felt lately my donations to constructing our dream has been severely lacking in the momentum it once was. πŸ™‚

It is time to bring a mega boost of β™₯espressorainbow powerβ™₯ to our lovely monster plan! πŸ˜€ hehehe ❀

Update: First image prototype of cob bottle tower concept

First concept design πŸ™‚

As apart of my current studies, Aromatherapy has been on my mind. πŸ™‚

Under the holistic umbrella of bettering one’s self through-and-through; I came to sheer excitement upon how all of my natural skills can co-exist as a profile career. ❀ I desire to learn how to create candles, soaps, incense, a large array of essential oils, sugar scrubs, bath bombs and various other aromatic delights.
We have so much unnecessary stress and great sadness all over the world. I desire to do my best with every new person (or non-stranger) I meet at the Butterfly Forests Homestead to lessen these feelings. Even if a visitor is not intending to purchase something from the “Flutter-Free CSA” – I still want to bring a glimmer of sunshine-breeze to their lives. πŸ™‚

The current book I am studying in connection to Aromatherapy is called: “The Encyclopedia of Aromatherapy” by Chrissie Wildwood. It’s a great read and very useful for those who are interested in what Aromatherapy is, or those who want to further their ‘holistic branch-feelers.’ πŸ™‚ πŸ˜‰
