Kombucha. Sweet, delicious- kombucha. 😀 Daniel has been the mastermind behind introducing this marvelous homemade beverage to our home. We have a new skill obtained and are planning to sell our own kombucha beverages in the CSA cob store on the property. ❤
It’s relatively easy to make, once you get a SCOBY of our very-own. It’s more than likely going to be producing a new baby SCOBY after every new batch. 🙂
Q: What is a SCOBY?
A: “SCOBY” is actually an acronym: Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast. And that’s exactly what it is! A SCOBY is the living home for the bacteria and yeast that transform sweet tea into tangy, fizzy kombucha — think of the SCOBY as the coral reef of the bacteria and yeast world.”
